Bahia Percussion Camp Arrastão

Once again we chose the best time to visit Salvador de Bahia, during pre-carnival. In addition to being Summer, in this period the city warms up its engines and the rehearsals of the blocos begin, with performances every day and preparations for the largest Carnival in the World. We will also coincide with one of the biggest traditional festivals in the city, the "The Day of Yemanjá".

We are going to spend a few days in front of the sea, in one of the best beaches on the Salvador coast, with all the services nearby. We will enjoy this quiet and safe area for our first days, we will be able to play in front of the sea celebrating part of our programming in this splendid place.

The second part of our trip will be in the historic center of Salvador, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Our accommodation is located in one of the most central squares at every moment you can hear the drums of the blocos rehearsing through its streets. We will perform a percussive immersion in the neighborhood; workshops, concerts, visits to emblematic places and talks with some of the main characters in the place where Samba Reggae was born.
