Roda de Timbau do Candeal is a cultural project that brings together percussionists to exchange and transmit knowledge, stimulating the new generation of musicians and strengthening the music scene and the historical context of the Candeal neighborhood, rescuing the popular street music movement.

The project is an idealization of Elbermário Barbosa and Rian Mourthé, produced by Gabriela Silva, all created by the neighborhood and this popular movement. Rian and Elbermário, who are professional percussionists, perceive in this Roda the importance of updating a process of musical formation and cultural appreciation, which must be preserved.
