Víviam Caroline stands out for her creativity and performativity, her dialogue with the drum is ancestral and her gestures deliver this connection to those who watch. Master in Culture and Society from the Federal University of Bahia, she developed the dissertation in which she claims that the samba-reggae band is an urban quilombo.

In May 2022 Víviam creates Yayá Muxima, a group of women who propose to investigate the rhythm by promoting dialogues with other voiced women. Viviam is also one of the percussionists of the band Timbaladies.
